The Saura tribe is one of the oldest tribes residing in the southern districts of the state of Odisha. A tribe that is deeply connected with nature and their paintings surely depicts their love for nature through simple images of everyday village life. Traditionally, Saura paintings were done on walls of the village homes. Nowadays, Suara paintings are done on various clothing’s, like sarees, and home decor items.
